In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful
In an era where technological advancement is not just a convenience but a necessity, it is imperative for those who hold the torch of knowledge and science to embrace modernity and cultural globalization. This is crucial to preserving our scientific heritage and ensuring it remains accessible to a broad audience.
At the Heritage Revival Center at al-Abbas's alternatives, recognized as a leading authority in its field, we have noted the underappreciation of our rich legacy in terms of publication. Despite some individual efforts over the centuries to print certain volumes, which were meticulously handled by dedicated researchers, the full impact of this heritage remains largely untapped.
To address this, we have developed an electronic application designed to serve both specialists and enthusiasts of our heritage. This application acts as a comprehensive knowledge portal for those eager to explore the scholars and figures of our true sect, making it easier to research and delve into their lives and works in the shortest possible time.
The application includes the book in three distinct formats:
1- A text format that closely aligns with the published version.
2- A digital replica of the printed book.
3- A unique feature for specialists: a manuscript copy handwritten by the author, may God Almighty have mercy on him. This allows users to verify any suspected typographical errors, particularly important as many volumes of the book remain unedited and contain such errors.
Despite its simplicity, this application offers several advantages beneficial to researchers, which can be summarized as follows:
1- The ability to read each version of the book independently.
2- The option to search the entire encyclopedia or specific sections, with both normal and advanced search capabilities.
3- The feature to copy or share text.
4- The ability to print pages of the book in all three formats.
5- The functionality to open two windows simultaneously—one for the text and one for the printed version—with options to zoom in and out and link pages between the two windows during browsing.
6- An index of the translators' names for each volume and the entire encyclopedia, with the ability to search within these indices.
7- The option to bookmark any page of the book in its three formats.
8- The capability to add notes or comments to any page of the book across all three formats.
As we launch this application for our esteemed users, we extend our heartfelt thanks, praise, and appreciation to all who contributed to this remarkable endeavor. We honor the dedication of the esteemed scholar of his time, Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may God have mercy on him, for his tireless work in typesetting, reviewing, and printing the book. We also acknowledge those who preserved a written copy and made it available to researchers, fulfilling the zakat of knowledge, and to our dear brothers who worked tirelessly to develop this application. May God reward all of them abundantly.
