Users can customize alerts based on local aurora probability, Kp-index (Hp30), solar wind parameters (Bz/Bt), and evening Kp-level forecasts. The app also features a unique community aspect: users receive alerts when nearby app users report witnessing the aurora. This crowdsourced data relies on users uploading their own aurora sighting reports after successfully viewing the display. A premium version, available as an in-app purchase, unlocks enhanced technical information, including graphs of Kp-index predictions, cloud cover data, detailed solar wind parameters, and additional hidden features AuroraNotifier.
