From the hallway, a sound:
A door creaking open.
But you know you didn’t open it.
And there is no door there.
Only the wall.
The same wall you’ve stared at for seven years.

You stand.
Feet bare on cold wood.
You walk slowly.
One step.
Then another.

And then —
The wall bends.
Like it’s breathing.

A sliver of light bleeds through.
Not from a lamp.
From inside.

A voice —
Yours —
whispers from the other side:

“You’re late.”

You try to run.
But your legs don’t obey.
And the wall…
It opens.

Not like a door.
Like a mouth.

And now you see it.
The room.
Your childhood bedroom.
