- Easy-to-use interface and settings.
- Engaging and simple gameplay.
- Excellent for passing the time.
- Challenging AI opponents.
How to Play Hazari:
Hazari uses a standard 52-card deck with four players, each receiving 13 cards. Players arrange their cards in descending order, calling "up" when finished. The player to the right of the dealer begins by discarding three cards. Subsequent players discard their highest-value three cards. The player with the highest-value cards wins the round and collects all discarded cards. This process repeats until all cards are played.
Scoring:
- Cards Ace (A) through 10 are worth 10 points each.
- Cards 9 through 2 are worth 5 points each.
- The first player to reach 1000 points wins the game.
Winning Hand Rankings:
The highest-ranking hand wins each round. Hand rankings are as follows:
- TROY: Three cards of the same rank (e.g., AAA, KKK).
- COLOR RUN: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., AKQ of Spades).
- RUN: Three consecutive cards of any suit (e.g., AKQ of mixed suits).
- COLOR: Any three cards of the same suit.
- PAIR: Two cards of the same rank.
- INDIVIDUALS: Any other combination of cards; the highest card determines the winner.
If two players discard the same highest-ranking hand, the second player to discard loses the round.
Example:
Player 1 discards AKQ of Hearts. Player 2 discards 678 of Spades. Player 3 discards AKQ of Diamonds. Player 4 discards 55J of Hearts. Player 3 (AKQ of Diamonds) wins the round.
Game Arrangement:
Players initially arrange their cards into four sets: three sets of three cards and one set of four cards. They discard these sets one at a time, following the rules above.
