Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!
This is the classic urban bus simulator dedicated to passenger transport within cities. Originally launched in 2017, it's been nearly five years! Over this time, our simulator has been enriched with numerous features.
The bus modding system is now significantly more advanced, supporting extensive animations for buttons, rain effects, wipers, windows, and more. Our creative community has already produced hundreds of bus mods, with many more on the way!
Many new buses will be released as mods shortly, with several currently in development this year. Including every bus directly in the game would make it extremely large, and realistically, no one uses every vehicle. Offering them as mods allows you to keep only your favorites, saving valuable storage space. Legacy buses without animations were not included in this edition but will be re-released as mods in the coming months.
In 2020, we introduced a map modding system—a rare feature for mobile games! While map creation requires a computer, finished maps can run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.
The original routes are still available, but with a major shift towards custom map creation, they will soon become a thing of the past.
This simulator is FREE, with optional extras for PAID USERS. You can enjoy the free version indefinitely; our goal isn't simply to make money. Please consider payment only if you TRULY APPRECIATE the project and wish to support its development. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and gain access to exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic speed maintenance), 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Almost all core features and buses remain completely free.
This is more a simulator than a traditional game. We focus on realism, not points or checkpoints. Simply choose your preferred bus and start driving. As a detailed simulator, it involves many controls and settings. We recommend watching an online video or tutorial first if you're new. Many common issues have simple solutions: for instance, press 'N' before shifting gears to move the bus, and always remember to release the parking brake. Some settings can cause unexpected behavior, so please read their descriptions carefully before enabling them. Performance can also vary between devices.
Proton Bus Urbano is available for PC and Android. PCs typically deliver better graphics quality due to their hardware capabilities. Numerous settings can be adjusted to optimize performance. The simulator runs best on modern mid-to-high-end devices with ample RAM (preferably 4GB or more). If performance is poor on your device, try older versions or experiment with the settings. Note: There is a known issue with 64-bit Unity applications on some Android devices. If you experience low framerates, you can download the 32-bit APK from our website, which may improve performance.
Our focus moving forward is on core updates, especially enhancing modding support. This simulator truly shines with mods—it's hard to imagine it without them!
You can download mods by searching online for "Proton Bus mods" or by using the in-game button. Installation requires a file manager app, but don't worry—our community is always ready to help.
Currently, advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, and basic functionality on a J7 Prime. The simulator is not recommended for older phones with less than 2GB of RAM, though you can attempt installation via manual APK/OBB methods with no guarantees. The screenshots displayed were taken on a Galaxy J7 Prime using the "good settings" button.

* New mod installer! Installing mods is now much easier: after downloading a mod file, simply tap to share or open it and select the game! This works for most buses and maps (phase 3 maps are supported in this version).
* Shadow improvements (not perfect, but better).
* Added button to disconnect and delete your premium account (as required by the platform).
