This Mahjong School app is your guide to learning Japanese Mahjong, a style very similar to European (Riichi) and US Mahjong. While slightly different from Chinese, Hong Kong, or Taiwanese Mahjong, mastering the Japanese style provides a solid foundation for other variations.

The app offers three learning paths:

1. Mahjong Calculator: Add tiles to your hand, and use the intuitive interface to input TING, CHOW, PON, and CHI combinations to create winning hands. Specify conditions like DORA and self-draw, and the calculator will compute the FU and point value with detailed explanations and hand names.

2. Simple Tutorial: A comprehensive list of all HAN, each with an example hand and clear description.

3. Practice Mode: Play against a beginner-friendly AI opponent. Practical experience is key to mastering Mahjong.
