The publisher behind acclaimed titles like Stray and What Remains of Edith Finch is grappling with the fallout of a mass resignation. Over 20 employees, including the entire staff, resigned after negotiations to establish Annapurna Interactive as an independent entity failed.

Former president Nathan Gary, who spearheaded the effort for independence, confirmed the collective resignation, stating it was a difficult but necessary decision. The team released a joint statement emphasizing the gravity of their choice.
