As a prequel to a prequel film, Andor's exceptional quality came as a welcome surprise to many. This Disney+ series, which followed one of the more somber Star Wars movies, charts Cassian Andor's (Diego Luna) journey from a small-time criminal to the pivotal rebel we meet in Rogue One. Even with his ultimate fate known, the show's gripping plot and deeply human narratives combine to create what many consider the finest live-action Star Wars series to date.
After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, the show is back for its second and final season, and the extended wait appears to have been justified. In his 9/10 review, Clint Gage notes that Andor Season 2 "builds on nearly all the strengths of its first season, further enriching the prequel era of the Star Wars universe. At its heart a story about the rebellion's unsung heroes, Andor masterfully weaves intimate personal tales into a much larger conflict."
Andor Season 2 premieres tonight on the Disney-owned streaming platform with a slightly unconventional episode release pattern. Here is your complete guide to watching it.

Will There Be a Season 3?
Andor Season 2 continues right where the first season ended, bridging the narrative directly to the events of Rogue One. As a result, this season concludes Andor's story. The plot will cover a four-year period after the Season 1 finale, so viewers should expect significant time jumps.
Naturally, this is not the end for the Star Wars franchise. More live-action films are in the works, including one directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling. There are also rumors of a Star Wars horror project being developed by Andor's showrunner, Tony Gilroy.
A variety of Star Wars games are also in development, such as Bit Company's new tactical title, Star Wars Zero Company. More announcements are anticipated on Star Wars Day, May the 4th.
