HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, has been busy! Their upcoming game, originally titled Astaweave Haven, is getting a fresh name and a potential makeover. Even before a full reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes.
If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you may have heard of Astaweave Haven. While official details remain scarce, this new title appears to be a significant departure from HoYoVerse's usual open-world gacha adventures.
Instead of another gacha RPG, Astaweave Haven is shaping up to be a life-simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. This leads us to the big news: MiHoYo has rebranded Astaweave Haven as Petit Planet.
The name change is a welcome one. "Petit Planet" sounds charming and hints at the game's likely management sim genre, distinguishing it from MiHoYo's typical gacha RPG releases.
Release Date?
Currently, there's no official launch date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile in July. On October 31st, HoYoVerse registered the "Petit Planet" trademark, now awaiting US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (consider the back-to-back launches of Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail), we can hope for a quick approval process and a soon-to-be-revealed glimpse of Petit Planet.
