Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards Crowns Ezio Auditore!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan's Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans vote for their top three favorite characters from across Ubisoft's extensive library. The voting period ran from November 1st, 2024.
The results, announced on Ubisoft Japan's official website and X (formerly Twitter), reveal Ezio as the clear winner. To mark this achievement, a special webpage featuring Ezio in a unique artistic style has been launched. Furthermore, four free digital wallpapers (for PCs and smartphones) showcasing Ezio are available for download. A lucky 30 fans will receive an exclusive Ezio acrylic stand set, and another 10 will win a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow!
Beyond Ezio's triumph, the top ten characters were revealed, showcasing a diverse range of Ubisoft's beloved characters:
- 1st: Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Liberation)
- 2nd: Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
- 3rd: Edward James Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
- 4th: Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
- 5th: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
- 6th: Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- 7th: Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- 8th: Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
- 9th: Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
- 10th: Aaron Keener (The Division 2)
In a related poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise itself also secured first place, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry series followed in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
