Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, highlighting its impressive features. The trailer emphasizes support for cutting-edge upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring stunning visuals across a range of hardware. Ultra-wide monitor support is also confirmed, along with ray tracing enhancements including RTGI and RT Reflections. Furthermore, the developers have focused on extensive settings optimization, making the game accessible even to players with lower-spec PCs.
A built-in benchmark tool will help players test performance and ensure optimal settings for their systems. Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) graphics card. High-end players aiming for 4K at 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing enabled will need an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and a powerful RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.
Ubisoft has partnered with Intel for Assassin's Creed Shadows, promising strong optimization for Intel processors. Post-launch performance analysis on AMD systems will be conducted. The developers aim to address the stuttering issues that plagued previous Assassin's Creed titles, building on the improvements seen in Mirage compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
