Atelier Resleriana's servers are shutting down on March 28th, less than a year after its global launch. Koei Tecmo cited an inability to maintain their initially set quality standards as the reason for the closure. In-app purchases have already ended on January 27th.
While the developers consistently added improvements and events, they ultimately determined that continued operation wasn't feasible. Players can still utilize existing Lodestar Gems, but further purchases are unavailable.
This closure isn't entirely unexpected given the competitive gacha market. Atelier Resleriana, despite promising concepts, faced challenges including criticism of its gacha rates and alchemy mechanics, which fell short of expectations. While the gameplay was functional, it lacked the engagement to compete effectively.
Many players have requested an offline version, but the likelihood of this happening is slim. Those who enjoyed the turn-based RPG should make the most of the remaining time before the game's closure. For those seeking alternative JRPG experiences, a list of top Android JRPGs is available.
