The Dark Knight's reign in the video game world was once a constant stream of new releases. Rocksteady's Batman games, in particular, redefined the superhero genre, a legacy felt even today. However, recent years have seen a noticeable decline in dedicated Batman titles. The last truly standalone Batman game, The Enemy Within, launched in 2017, and there's currently no indication of a new, major release on the horizon.
While comic book fans have a wealth of upcoming superhero games to anticipate, those craving a Batman experience will find the best titles in the game's past.

While Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League featured Batman, it's not a game solely focused on the Dark Knight. More importantly, the Arkhamverse expanded into VR.
