Baldur's Gate 3's upcoming Patch 7 introduces terrifying new evil endings, offering a chilling glimpse into the consequences of a fully villainous playthrough.
A New Evil Ending: A Father's Pride
Larian Studios recently unveiled a 52-second cinematic teaser on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing one such ending centered on the Dark Urge. The preview depicts the grim fate of the Dark Urge's companions as they fall victim to their leader's descent into their father, Bhaal's, control, culminating in a horrifying takeover of the Netherbrain.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!
The Dark Urge's companions are subjected to mind control, forced to meet their demise. A chilling voiceover declares, "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before the Dark Urge suffers a similar fate.
This is just one of several new evil endings promised in Larian's April community update, which pledged "improved evil endings for even darker conclusions to your most sinister playthroughs." These endings aren't exclusive to Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings include the Dark Urge wading through a sea of blood and corpses, and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" orchestrated by the True Absolute.
What Else Awaits in Patch 7?
