January 2025

On January 17, Tecmo Koei brings back its iconic musou series with Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the first full entry since 2018. Leveraging the power of current-gen hardware, you'll be able to immerse yourself in epic battles, slashing through hordes of enemies while shouting the series' iconic battlecry, "DIE, NASTY WARRIORS!" On February 11, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues the story of Henry of Skalitz in this expansive historical RPG set in 14th-century Bohemia. Also launching on February 11, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 offers another installment in the renowned strategy series. This game will be available on a wide range of platforms, including Linux, but not on mobile devices at launch.

On February 14, Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes Ubisoft's open-world series to feudal Japan, allowing players to experience the life of both a ninja and a samurai through dual protagonists. This title will be available on current-gen consoles and PC.

For those looking for a unique Valentine's Day experience, Date Everything! launches on the same day. This sandbox dating simulator lets you romance over 100 anthropomorphized inanimate objects, all fully voice-acted. It's available on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Switch, and PC.

On February 18, Avowed from Obsidian hits Xbox Series consoles and PC. Set in the same universe as the Pillars of Eternity series, this first-person action RPG promises a fresh perspective and a more concise experience, akin to The Outer Worlds.

On April 24, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks the return of the series with its first new game this century. Featuring beloved characters like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, this fighting game will be available on both PlayStation platforms, Xbox Series, and PC.
