Blizzard Reveals New Details on WoW Housing

In an exciting development for 2025, World of Warcraft players can look forward to the introduction of a new housing system, as announced by Blizzard. The developers have ensured that this feature will be accessible to all players, eliminating complex requirements, exorbitant prices, or any lottery systems. Moreover, players can rest assured that their homes will remain secure even without an active subscription. The housing system is set to fully launch with the upcoming Midnight expansion.

Upon launch, players will have the opportunity to select their plot in one of two distinct zones: for the Alliance, a serene setting in Elwynn Forest with influences from Westfall and Duskwood, or for the Horde, a rugged landscape in Durotar, incorporating elements from Azshara and the Durotar coastline. Each zone will be segmented into districts, hosting approximately 50 houses per district. Players can opt to establish their homes in open areas or within private communities, allowing them to live alongside friends and guildmates.

While most items will be obtainable in-game, some unique decorations will be available in the shop, ensuring players have ample choices to personalize their spaces.
