Blood Strike is getting a retro overhaul with Block Strike
Experience the classic gameplay in this new mode that feels wonderfully Minecraft-inspired
Introducing new Shadow Pearls, Airdrops, and Portals
Blood Strike, the popular battle royale shooter from NetEase, is receiving a major update that brings a nostalgic twist to the action. This update introduces Block Strike—a pixelated, blocky take on the familiar battlefield—alongside a host of fresh features.
Block Strike transforms Blood Strike’s visuals into a charmingly pixelated world reminiscent of Minecraft. Scattered across the map are Block Piles filled with essential gear, letting you enjoy the full Blood Strike experience with a distinctly Mojang-style aesthetic.
Even if you’re just dipping your toes in, there’s plenty to love. The new Shard Store lets you buy upgrades mid-match, while fresh additions like Shadow Pearls, Portals, and Airdrops shake up the strategy. All of these updates drop today—and Block Strike will be available until August 10th.
Block, block, block!
This transformation offers fans a rare chance to see Blood Strike reinvented in such a bold way. With loot piles containing everything from Shard Buffs and Gold/Evolution Points to rare items like the Shadow Pearl (yes, the name has us wondering…), it’s worth exploring to uncover what’s new.
The Shard Store may spark debate for letting players spend in-game loot directly on gear—but paired with the new Shadow Pearls, Portals, and Airdrops, it promises to reshape how power is earned and used in Blood Strike.
