Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Reveal Screwllum Animations
Recent leaks offer a glimpse at the in-game animations for the highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail character, Screwllum (Mechanical Aristocrat Screwllum I). Since its April 2023 launch, Honkai: Star Rail has expanded its roster significantly, with each update introducing new playable characters. Update 2.3, for example, brought Firefly and a rerun for Ruan Mei, followed by Jade and Argenti in the second banner phase.
Screwllum, a mechanical lifeform and resistance leader against Genius Society #27, has already appeared in the main storyline. A leaker, fireflylover, shared animations (likely emotes or menu animations) from pre-Version 2.0 data. Therefore, HoYoverse may have since refined the model.
Screwllum's Release and Abilities
Known as Genius Society member #76 and resident of Planet Screwllum, Screwllum possesses exceptional hacking skills, rivaling Silver Wolf's. Leaks suggest an offensive Imaginary-type character whose Skill inflicts multi-target Imaginary damage, scaling with ATK. His Ultimate reduces enemy Imaginary damage resistance and attacks all enemies.
While a precise release date remains unconfirmed, the recent Special Program did not feature Screwllum, indicating he won't be arriving soon. He's definitively absent from updates 2.3 and 2.4, which will introduce Yunli (first banner) and Jiaoqiu (second banner). Therefore, players should anticipate a later release.
