Marcin Blacha, the Vice President and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted the need for an "exceptional team" for Project Hadar, inviting skilled developers to explore open roles and contribute to shaping this new game.
Unlike CD Projekt Red's previous works, such as The Witcher series, which draws from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, inspired by a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar introduces players to a brand-new universe crafted entirely by CD Projekt. While details about the game are still limited, it's clear that it will not delve into the realm of space horror. Previously, the project was a small affair with only about twenty individuals involved.

Currently, the Hadar team is expanding and actively seeking to fill roles such as programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The excitement around these positions, described by top developers as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests that Project Hadar is moving from its conceptual phase into full-scale production.
CD Projekt Red is managing multiple projects simultaneously. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural game of a new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another title set within The Witcher universe.
