The update's highlights include the Ancient+ Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie, a formidable Charge-type frontline fighter with a devastating Awakened King skill. A special Nether-Gacha offers increased odds of acquiring him, guaranteeing him after 250 pulls. Also joining the roster is the Epic Peach Blossom Cookie, a support-type Cookie providing healing and beneficial buffs. A new World Exploration episode continues Dark Cacao Cookie's story, featuring Yin and Yang-themed battle stages.

However, the introduction of the Ancient+ rarity, a new tier above the existing ten, has ignited significant backlash. This new rarity, with a maximum 6-star promotion level, allows for enhanced visuals and dialogue. The community criticizes the addition of a new rarity tier instead of enhancing existing characters, viewing it as a predatory monetization tactic. This negative reaction, particularly strong within the Korean community and whale guilds, led to boycott threats and a developer response: the update's postponement (originally scheduled for June 20th) to reassess the changes. The developers are actively reconsidering the implementation of the Ancient+ rarity in response to player feedback.
