Crashlands 2 has just rolled out a significant update, version 1.1, brought to us by Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update responds directly to the community's desires and introduces a mix of new challenges and fan-favorite features from the original game.
What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, a new difficulty setting that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. Players navigating the Woanope will encounter faster, more aggressive enemies with increased health, while Flux Dabes will be more vulnerable than ever before. While there are no additional achievements for conquering this mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode minimizes combat, allowing players to focus on farming, building cozy homes, and fishing. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the game's narrative, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. This tool keeps track of all discoveries made by Flux, including pets, recipes, and items, helping players track their progress towards completion.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in battles and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds, enhancing the combat experience.
Gear crafting sees more variety with the introduction of random bonus stats on armor. Additionally, new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been added, expanding the arsenal available to players.
Quality of life improvements are also a key part of this update. Players can now build on a greater variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness settings, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This update showcases Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to player feedback and continually improving the game.
