Thunderful Group's recent financial report, following multiple layoffs, revealed a key update on Replaced. The cyberpunk platformer is now slated for a 2026 launch, marking another delay in its release schedule.
Sad Cat, the game's developers, previously postponed Replaced to 2025, noting its development as a "distinct challenge." Initially set for 2022, the release was deferred to 2023 and then to last year. The studio remains dedicated to crafting a top-tier game, fueled by its widespread attention and player anticipation.
Replaced was unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft’s showcase at the former E3 event.
While Sad Cat has not addressed this latest delay, the studio stays engaged, periodically sharing updates. This summer, they revealed combat footage and a mini-game for the upcoming title.
