Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!
The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with legendary Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game, creating the ultimate horror experience.
A Collection of Nightmares
For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist art style. Now, his chilling creations are brought to life in Dead by Daylight.
The collection features skins inspired by Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new skins.
Junji Ito himself was involved in the process, expressing delight at seeing his characters realized in the Dead by Daylight universe. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ito reacted to the in-game skins, commenting on how they had become even more terrifying in their video game incarnation. He even took part in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.
The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly unforgettable horror experience!
