Valve keeps the surprises coming with their consistent updates for Deadlock. The latest patch, though small, brings significant changes to four heroes, shaking up the gameplay dynamics. Calico, a fan-favorite, took a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability saw its cooldown extended by ten seconds, and a 20% speed boost was shifted to her T2. Additionally, the damage from her T2 Leaping Slash was dialed back, requiring players to adapt their strategies.
Sinclair, on the other hand, received a refreshing update with new sounds and animations, enhancing the overall experience. His Rabbit Hex ability was transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill, potentially changing how players utilize him in battle. Holliday and Wraith weren't spared either; both heroes faced nerfs, compelling players to reconsider their tactics.
The update didn't stop at heroes. Items like Ammo Scavenger now offer fewer stacks and no longer provide a health bonus, pushing players to rethink their item choices. Similarly, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively, which might affect combat strategies.
