Garena is bringing the tactical FPS, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC open beta launches December 5th, 2024, with mobile platforms following in 2025. Developed initially by NovaLogic and later by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile), the game now sees Garena partnering for its global release.
Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The 2025 rollout will initially cover Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Delta Force offers two core game modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, with squads of four.
- Operations: A three-player extraction shooter mode focused on high-stakes missions, loot scavenging, and tense escapes against the clock. This mode features bosses, restricted zones, and special objectives, including the chance to find a rare MandelBrick item that unlocks exclusive skins (at the cost of revealing your location).
The game boasts improved, realistic graphics while retaining the tactical gameplay of its predecessor. Fans of the original 1998 release will find much to appreciate.
