The New Denpa Men has made its way to Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch back in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG brings a few unique twists to the mobile platform.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. This means if you've already invested time in catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device.
On Android (and iOS), a new feature called QR Catch has been introduced. This allows you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team, replacing the Normal Catch method used on the Switch. However, some features like Together Catch and Offline Catch from the Switch version are not available on mobile.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, monsters drop vouchers known as Akashi at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used strategically in battles.
There's also a fun twist with scarecrows in the mobile version. You can summon monsters using them, which will then fight alongside you, attacking enemies and healing your party. To get a glimpse of the game in action, watch the trailer below.
Will You Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
The Denpa Men are unique little creatures that exist invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission in the game is to catch them, train them, and embark on exciting adventures. The New Denpa Men offers dungeon-crawling, island decoration, interaction with your Denpa Men, fishing, and the exploration of various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. The game is primarily controlled via touchscreen, though you have the option to use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
