Destiny 2 Warlock players are experiencing another reputation gain bug, this time impacting Vanguard reputation gains during Grandmaster Nightfalls and other activities. While Destiny 2 has seen positive momentum with new content like Into the Light and The Final Shape, recent weeks have brought a surge in reported bugs. Although Bungie actively addresses issues through updates, new problems, like this Warlock reputation glitch, continue to emerge.
Recent bugs have included unintended free Crucible rewards for AFK players and unlimited Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic. Warlocks have previously suffered from a Gambit reputation bug hindering their XP gains. This new issue, affecting Vanguard reputation, exacerbates the problem.
The Grandmaster Nightfall's return on June 25th, alongside a Vanguard reputation boost and double rewards, offered a prime opportunity for players to level up. However, Warlocks are receiving significantly less XP than Titans and Hunters for completing activities, suggesting a persistent bug possibly dating back months. While many were initially unaware, the discrepancy in XP gains became increasingly noticeable last week, particularly during Gambit matches.
The community is working to bring this issue to Bungie's attention. While Update 8.0.0.5 addressed numerous other problems, including Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids, this Warlock reputation bug remains unacknowledged. Players are urged to continue reporting the problem in hopes of a swift resolution.
