After beating Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can still engage in nearly all activities you enjoyed before. The game boasts a vast open world set in Feudal Japan, brimming with side quests and exploration opportunities. Completing the main quest does not restrict access to this content, so feel free to delve deeper into the world and uncover all its secrets.
Additionally, post-launch, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will introduce new weekly challenges through the Animus, providing fresh content even after achieving 100% completion.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained
Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be over. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board, along with Yasuke and Naoe’s main quests. However, I hadn't yet earned the trophy for finishing Act 3 or The Epilogue. To unlock the epilogue and the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro, then return to the Hideout to speak with Tomiko. This will grant you the complete ending and the associated achievements.
Moreover, towards the game's end, you can acquire exclusive gear for Naoe themed around the Assassins and for Yasuke themed around the Templars. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s playstyle and are a nod to longtime fans of the Assassin’s Creed series.
As for endgame content, you can continue to level up your characters all the way to the game’s maximum level cap, even after the credits have rolled.
