How to Open the Doorway to Nowhere and Find Pack-a-Punch
Unlike other maps like Terminus and Citadelle des Morts, reaching the Pack-a-Punch machine in The Tomb involves a unique challenge. At the start of each match, players must open the Doorway to Nowhere, which acts as a teleporter to the Dark Aether Nexus within The Tomb.
To access the Doorway to Nowhere, head to the Subterranean Temple area. You can reach this by progressing through the map and unlocking doors. Once inside the Temple, locate the altar and place the Amulet item there by holding the interact button. Don't worry about finding the Amulet; you'll spawn with it every time. After a brief moment, the Doorway to Nowhere will open, granting you access to the Dark Aether Nexus.
Within the Dark Aether Nexus, you'll find the Pack-a-Punch machine near the center. However, be aware that its location will shift over time. If you need to continue upgrading your weapon, you'll need to track down its new position.
Every Pack-a-Punch Location in The Tomb and How To Find Them
In The Tomb, the Pack-a-Punch machine can appear in multiple locations. Initially, it's always found within the Dark Aether Nexus. However, it can also spawn closer to the starting area, specifically at the top of the Dig Site in the Roman Mausoleum.
To determine the current location of the Pack-a-Punch machine, use your Tac-Map. The main area of The Tomb and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't visible on the Tac-Map in your current location, it means the machine is in the other area.
Another method to locate the Pack-a-Punch machine involves a stone slab with illuminated sections, similar to tracking the Mystery Box. If the lit-up icon for the Pack-a-Punch is on the main map, head to the corresponding spot. If the symbol appears on an island separate from the main map, the machine is currently within the Dark Aether Nexus.
