In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, missing out on certain side tasks can be frustrating, especially when they're tied to unique rewards or story developments. One such task is finding Rosa's book, which is crucial if you're aiming to romance Rosa. Let's dive into how to unlock and complete "Rosa's Book" side quest without missing a beat.
Unlocking the Rosa's Book Side Quest
Before you can embark on retrieving Rosa's book, you need to complete the quest "Via Argentum" and then start "Taking French Leave." During "Taking French Leave," you'll assist the Ruthard family with Vavak, either by force or persuasion. Once that's settled, you'll be directed to speak with Rosa. She'll not only reveal a secret passage into Maleshov that you can use to rescue Hans but also request you to find her book while you're there. Make sure to ask her about the specifics of the book and commit to bringing it back to her, thus initiating the "Rosa's Book" side quest.
Upon entering Maleshov, head to the largest tower where Hans is held at the top. Use the stairs on the side of the building to reach the entrance. Once inside, you'll find another set of stairs and a small kitchen nearby. Use the kitchen to hide until the guards upstairs leave the tower.
After the cutscene, continue with "Taking French Leave." Although Hans might not want to use the passageway, you can still advance your relationship with him by choosing the heart dialogue option, provided you made the same choice earlier in Trosky. From here, stealthily make your way to the stables on the north side of Maleshov, dealing with guards as necessary. Once you've cleared a path, signal Hans and ensure his safe passage to the stables.
Open the gate for another cutscene to wrap up the quest. After it concludes, head back to Kuttenberg City and stop by Ruthard Palace to deliver Rosa's book, completing the side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
