Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has arrived and it's the most expansive season to date, now officially live. This season introduces a wealth of new content that dramatically shifts the gameplay dynamics, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What's in Store in Torchlight: Infinite's Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that players get to manage. You'll be tasked with gathering resources from the Netherrealm and converting them into tangible benefits by allocating workers across five different professions. This approach not only unlocks new trade routes and bonuses but also seasonal rewards, merging the thrill of ARPG combat with the depth of a strategy simulation.
Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has undergone a sinister transformation into the Blasphemer. She now inflicts desecration rather than blessings, applying Erosion Damage that escalates in intensity the longer it affects your foes.
The Deep Space region has been significantly revamped, featuring five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, enhancing both your rewards and the difficulty level of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience has been enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These rare encounters offer loot setups that can alter your strategic approach to the game.
Some zones have taken a unique turn, like the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but packed with Mystery Chests ripe for exploration. Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of non-aggressive goblins. Eliminating them may trigger the appearance of a hidden boss.
The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to utilize it. A well-timed strike can transform enemies directly into treasure.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, players can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse themselves in the latest season's offerings.
