Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, currently in Steam Early Access. The demo, available until March 3rd, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest, features the prologue and first chapter, playable with three distinct heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also experience the cooperative Vermplings, the Bloodline Grid skill system, endgame hunts, and initial hub city upgrades.
The developers have a packed schedule for the coming year. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, more skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update is a major one, adding multiplayer functionality alongside further Bloodline Grid and hub city improvements.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, players fight through a world tainted by ancient dragon blood. They'll guide a legendary warrior, battling monstrous creatures and powerful Dragonlords. Character progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid system for ability customization.
Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6th, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
