Funcom has released a thrilling new trailer for Dune: Awakening, their upcoming multiplayer survival game set in Frank Herbert's iconic Dune universe. The trailer showcases the vast, unforgiving deserts of Arrakis, highlighting the challenges and rewards awaiting players.

Survival in Dune: Awakening hinges on exploration. Players must traverse the treacherous dunes, scavenging vital resources to craft shelters and vehicles, including formidable ornithopters. A handy scanner assists in resource gathering, while strategically deployed probes on higher ground pinpoint crucial locations on the map.

These points of interest vary from wrecked starships to deserted outposts, often requiring clever navigation and the use of specialized tools like grappling hooks, power belts, and other advanced gear.
