In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, players of all skill levels will encounter situations where they need to heal due to the damage taken during their gameplay sessions. This is particularly true for those new to the franchise, who may quickly find themselves needing to learn how to restore their health effectively.
Fortunately, healing in Dynasty Warriors: Origins is user-friendly. Players can replenish their health by using a special consumable item known as a meat bun. These can be acquired by smashing pots scattered around enemy bases. Additionally, on the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings, enemy officers might drop meat buns upon defeat, though this does not occur on the Hero and Ultimate Warrior settings.
How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
To heal, players simply need to press Up on the D-Pad during battle, provided they have at least one meat bun in their inventory. If a player's inventory is full upon picking up a meat bun, it will be automatically consumed unless the player is already at full health, in which case it remains on the ground. Initially, players can carry up to three meat buns, but this can be expanded using the Meat Bun Glutton skill for those who find three insufficient.
For those who prefer not to manually manage their healing, the game offers an "Auto-Use Meat Buns" feature. This can be activated in the Configuration menu, ensuring that meat buns are automatically used when the player's health drops below a set threshold. Importantly, players can still choose to use meat buns manually even with this setting enabled, making it a versatile option for all players.
