Maintaining high army morale is crucial for victory in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. This guide explains its impact and how to manage it.
Understanding Morale in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Morale significantly impacts your army's effectiveness in large-scale battles. High morale means your officers and troops perform better, even without your direct intervention. They'll more readily defeat enemy officers and capture bases independently. Conversely, low morale weakens your army, making enemy officers stronger and more likely to capture your bases, significantly increasing the difficulty of winning.
Boosting Morale
Several actions increase morale. These include:
- Defeating enemy commanders
- Capturing bases
- Achieving high kill counts (e.g., 100 soldiers)
- Winning duels
Conversely, these actions lower morale:
- Losing bases
- Officer deaths
- Losing duels
- Failing to counter enemy ambushes or Grand Tactics
Reversing Low Morale
Low morale doesn't guarantee defeat. Actively assisting struggling allies, using the minimap to locate them, and providing support will typically boost overall morale. Prioritize aiding allies in need to prevent their deaths and maintain a strong fighting force.
