Originally a loyalist Space Marine legion, the Emperor's Children broke away from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Now devoted solely to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires, they've fractured into independent warbands that roam the galaxy hunting for new thrills and sensations.
Reflecting this lore, players can choose from three new warlords. Lord Kaphrael specializes in eliminating enemy champions and commands the Callous Blades, while Xarahan personifies the Emperor's Children's signature arrogance and ego. Then there's Lucius the Eternal, the infamous immortal swordsman whose skills have been honed over thousands of years.

Cards with Ecstasy activate an effect when their health drops to a specific level, while those with Cruelty gain bonuses when you damage but don't destroy an enemy unit. Stimulation triggers an ability whenever the unit is targeted by stratagems. Additionally, Combat Elixirs cause certain cards to generate extra stratagems, empowering their abilities even further.
