This marks the first digital release of Eye of the Dragon since its last availability in 2010. Crafted by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the series, the book originally debuted in 2005 during the Wizard Books revival of the franchise. Interestingly, its origins trace back to a mini-adventure from Dicing with Dragons. With its digital release, Eye of the Dragon now proudly stands as the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In Eye of the Dragon, players are thrust into a thrilling adventure beneath Darkwood Forest, navigating a monster-filled maze in search of the legendary Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. The journey begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - all you need to do is drink a dubious potion that could prove fatal.
The dungeon is rife with peril and rewards, featuring deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and numerous creatures eager to challenge you. Along the way, you might encounter an imprisoned dwarf who could be more than just a typical non-player character.
