Developers weltenbauer Software Entwicklung (known for their Construction Simulator series) and publisher astragon Entertainment have officially unveiled Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, a highly immersive simulation game powered by Unreal Engine 5. Players will step into the boots of a firefighter, tackling real-life challenges such as rescuing civilians, extinguishing electrical fires, managing flammable liquid spills, and handling grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosive scenarios. The game supports four-player co-op, making teamwork essential for success. Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is set to launch in Fall 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The game promises cutting-edge realism with advanced fire, smoke, and heat physics. To enhance immersion, players will have access to officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from leading brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL, including fire hoses, saws, Halligan bars, axes, extinguishers, and more. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will also be available. Additionally, the game features authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America, including models like the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, and the brand-new RTX.

Customization options allow players to tailor their characters to suit their preferences. Purchasing the Extended Edition grants additional perks, such as a Dalmatian dog for your firehouse.
