Folio Society Unveils Luxurious Hardcover of China Miéville's Perdido Street Station

China Miéville's Perdido Street Station stands as a landmark in the world of fantasy literature, celebrated for its intricate storytelling and its place within the "weird fiction" genre. As we approach the book's 25th anniversary, The Folio Society is set to release a stunning 707-page hardcover edition, making it a perfect addition to their collection of premium books.

Scheduled for release on Tuesday, March 18, this special edition of Perdido Street Station will be limited to just 500 copies worldwide, available exclusively through The Folio Society's website. This deluxe version not only preserves the original narrative but enhances it with a new afterword by Miéville himself and a series of captivating illustrations by artist Doug Bell. Bell's contributions include 8 black and white chapter opening images, 12 full-color illustrations, and an intricately detailed map of the fictional city of New Crobuzon.
