When Is The Tale of Food Shutdown?
The Tale of Food, where players commanded an army of charming, personified dishes, will cease operations on March 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM (UTC+8). As of February 18th, 2025, in-game purchases have been disabled. New player registrations have also been halted starting today, and the game has been delisted from the Google Play Store. However, existing players can continue enjoying the game until the servers close on March 20th, 2025.
What About the Jewels Collected in the Game?
For those who purchased jewels between January 9th and February 18th, 2025, a refund is available. Players can contact in-game support or email the developers before March 20th to request a refund. It's worth noting that the Japan server for The Tale of Food closed in April 2023, followed by the China server in June 2024. The global version is the next to shut down, marking the end of your journey as the Food God's child managing a realm of delectable dumplings and charismatic seafood.
Even after the servers go offline, the game's official presence on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Discord will remain active. This will provide a space for the community to continue sharing memories and reminiscing about their time in the game.
