Fortnite Collaborates with Capcom

Fortnite x Devil May Cry Collaboration Imminent, According to Leaks

Recent leaks suggest a highly anticipated crossover between Fortnite and Devil May Cry is on the horizon. While Fortnite leaks are common, and not all pan out, the persistent chatter around a Devil May Cry collaboration, fueled by years of fan speculation, is gaining significant traction.

This potential collaboration arrives alongside other expected additions, such as Hatsune Miku. While Fortnite regularly explores diverse character collaborations, a return to previously successful partnerships seems more likely. Given Fortnite's past collaborations with Capcom (notably, the Resident Evil crossover), a Devil May Cry addition would be a natural fit for many fans.

The rumor mill has been particularly active recently. Reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR cited information from Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing on Twitter, bolstering the claims of an impending Devil May Cry collaboration. Interestingly, Wensoing noted that XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker initially mentioned this rumor in 2023, and its subsequent corroboration by multiple insiders lends it increased credibility.

Timing and Character Speculation

Given the numerous anticipated additions to Fortnite in the coming weeks, some speculate that a Devil May Cry crossover might follow Chapter 6 Season 1. While the extended timeframe for confirmation has raised some doubts, Nick Baker's successful predictions regarding previous collaborations (Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) add weight to the current speculation.

Character selection remains a key question. While Dante and Vergil are the most iconic Devil May Cry characters, and therefore strong contenders, the recent Cyberpunk 2077 crossover demonstrated that Fortnite developers can surprise fans. The inclusion of Female V in that collaboration, unexpected by many, suggests a potential for diverse character choices. Fortnite's tendency to offer male and female options in crossovers, coupled with past Capcom collaborations, hints that characters like Lady, Trish, Nico, Nero, or even V from Devil May Cry 5 could also appear.

The renewed focus on these leaks suggests that official confirmation or further details may be imminent. The gaming community eagerly awaits further announcements.
