Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options for operations. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items—consumable resources with varied uses—are often limited. You'll occasionally acquire them during operations, but not always enough to fully stock up. Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item. Here's how to overcome these limitations.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the correct Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the One-Item Permit. Each subsequent permit allows you to equip more Combat Items, up to a maximum of four.
These permits become available as you progress. By CODE level 3, you can purchase all four. Note that later permits unlock only after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will use all currently held grenades at the operation's start.
Your Accessory can also equip a single Combat Item, used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing through the early missions, you'll access The Warren HUB area. Here, Zakka's store (located on the upper level's right side) sells weapons and supplies. Select "Buy Items" to access Munitions (items that directly damage enemies) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment cures, ammunition refills).
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable if you need many Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
