Gamescom 2024: New Game Announcements and Major Updates Confirmed for Opening Night Live
Tune in to the Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) Livestream on August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET
Geoff Keighley, host and producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL), recently announced via Twitter (X) that the show will feature exciting "new game announcements," alongside updates on already-revealed titles and highly anticipated releases.
Gamescom has already hinted at a stellar lineup, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Civilization VII, MARVEL Rivals, Dune: Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, the ONL promises to unveil entirely new, unannounced games. The livestream will begin August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.
Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay reveal of Don’t Nod’s Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, a new trailer for Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and a brand-new game announcement from THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios (creators of Little Nightmares).
Call of Duty fans can anticipate a major reveal: a live, first-look campaign playthrough of Black Ops 6. While Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company will be a significant presence at the event.
