If you're a *Genshin Impact* player on Android, you're in for a treat. The long-awaited controller support is finally making its way to the game with the upcoming Version 5.5 update. It's been a while since iOS users enjoyed this feature back in 2021, but the wait is over for Android enthusiasts.
When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?
Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, because that's when you'll be able to dive into the world of Teyvat using your favorite controller. The update will support four popular controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Just make sure your controller is Bluetooth-enabled, and you're good to go.
But that's not all Version 5.5 has in store. Alongside controller support, you'll enjoy several quality-of-life improvements. One of the highlights is the new cross-scene quest tracking feature, allowing you to seamlessly track quests across different areas. Just open the map and teleport directly to your desired destination.
New players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will provide better insights into enemy mechanics. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. You can catch all the details during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
