GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, with DRM-free PC re-releases. Both PlayStation titles are now available on GOG's platform as part of their Preservation Program, preserving the original content intact.
Released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these titles represent a significant piece of gaming history. While Dino Crisis 3 debuted on the original Xbox in 2003, a new entry in the series remains elusive despite fan demand for a remake or sequel. Capcom's 2022 release of Exoprimal, a dinosaur-themed multiplayer action game, and comments from creator Shinji Mikami seem to indicate that a Dino Crisis reboot is unlikely.
GOG's release is particularly welcome given the challenges of running these older games on modern systems. GOG highlights the enhanced experience, stating that Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves.

- English and Japanese localizations.
- Easy difficulty, Dino Colosseum, and Dino Duel modes.

- Enhanced rendering options (windowed mode, VSync, gamma correction, integer scaling, anti-aliasing, etc.).
- Improved music playback and volume scaling.
- Improved item rendering and fog.
- Improved cartridge box alignment.
- Bug fixes for video playback, task switching, and game exit.

Additionally, GOG launched its Dreamlist, a community voting tool to influence future game releases on the platform. This allows players to directly impact which titles GOG pursues.
