"Guide to Obtaining and Fixing Shoes in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2"

Author : Grace Update:Apr 16,2025

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, your shoes will eventually wear out, leaving you to wander barefoot unless you acquire new ones or repair the old pair. Understanding how to obtain and maintain your footwear is essential for keeping your journey comfortable and effective.

How to Get Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

While you begin the game with a pair of shoes, you don't need to hold onto them throughout your entire adventure. There are multiple ways to acquire new shoes. You can discover them in chests or loot them from poachers and other human enemies. For a more lawful approach, consider purchasing them.

Tailors, such as the one in Troskowitz, do sell shoes, but they often come with subpar stats. To get better quality footwear, seek out a cobbler. You can find a cobbler as early as Trosky, identified on the map by a symbol resembling three red pieces in a circle, as illustrated below.

When you engage with a cobbler, you'll find a variety of items for sale, not just shoes. For instance, Cobbler Matthew also offers horse items. Additionally, you can purchase materials, Blacksmith's Kits, and Cobbler's Kits from him.

How to Repair Shoes

Similar to purchasing shoes, you have several options for repairing them. You can opt to have them fixed by cobblers or blacksmiths by selecting the repair option during your conversation with them. This action opens a menu where you can choose which items to repair and see the associated costs. These costs may vary if you have taken perks in the Craftsmanship skill, which grants you percentage discounts on NPC repairs for gear, be it shoes or armor.

Alternatively, you can repair your shoes yourself, though this depends on your Craftsmanship level. If your level isn't high enough, you won't be able to repair your shoes or other equipment. To repair your shoes, you'll need a Cobbler's Kit.

Cobbler's Kits are available from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths. You might also find them in chests or by looting NPCs. To use a Cobbler's Kit, navigate to your inventory, locate the kit, and press the interact button, which is "E" on PC. This action will display a menu of damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. If an item appears faded, your skill level isn't sufficient to repair it. Otherwise, select the items you wish to repair and press the interact button again to proceed with the repair.

This guide covers the essentials of acquiring and repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For repairing other gear besides shoes, use a Blacksmith's Kit in a similar manner. Alternatively, finding a vendor to handle your repairs is always a viable option, ensuring that your gear remains in top condition throughout your journey.
