Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches on mobile devices December 4th. This update serves as the concluding chapter before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus, the Eternal Land, as hinted by Black Swan.
Final Preparations in Penacony
Version 2.7 wraps up the Penacony storyline. The crew bids farewell, reconnecting with familiar faces and sharing poignant moments before their departure. A spectacular performance at the Grand Theater features the debut of two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.
Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by the mischievous Pepeshi, Wonweek, delivers a dazzling final act designed for the "Planet of Festivities." As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing the "Beatified" buff upon a teammate and their summon.
Fugue, previously known as Tingyun, makes her comeback after the harrowing events of Version 1.2. Recovering from a near-fatal encounter, she owes her survival to Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society. A 5-star Fire character, Fugue excels at weakening enemies, with her Ultimate unleashing a fiery attack that decimates enemy Toughness while dealing substantial Fire DMG.
