Prepare for a cosmic journey as Honkai Star Rail's Version 3.0 update, "Paean of Era Nova," blasts off on January 15th! Leaving Penacony behind, the Astral Express sets course for Amphoreus, a new world shrouded in mystery and chaos.
Amphoreus: A World of Darkness and Titans
This enigmatic planet is cloaked in perpetual night, its inhabitants unaware of the world beyond their borders. They revere Titans, ancient beings whose devastating civil wars and a mysterious "black tide" have plunged Amphoreus into ruin. Humanity clings to survival in the beleaguered Holy City of Okhema.
New Characters Join the Crew
Version 3.0 introduces two compelling new characters:
- Herta: A 5-star Ice-type powerhouse, a cosmic genius and AoE damage specialist.
- Aglaea: The elegant and deadly dressmaster of Okhema, a Flame-Chase legend whose combat style is as graceful as it is lethal, synchronized with her memosprite, Garmentmaker.

A Journey into the Abyss of Fate
The Trailblazer and Dan Heng delve into the ominous Abyss of Fate, a realm of ancient ruins and forgotten legends. Here, they encounter the three Titans—Time, Passage, and Law—former masters of time and space. Players will meet Oronyx, the Titan of Time, and unlock the Path of Remembrance. A new companion, the adorable and enigmatic Mem (who only says "Mem"), also joins the adventure.
The Vortex of Genesis Awaits
The final destination in Version 3.0 is the Vortex of Genesis, a divine sanctuary and the site of the Miracle of Genesis. Here, collected Coreflames illuminate constellations, chronicling the epic journeys of the Chrysos Heirs.
Returning and New Faces
The first half of the update features the return of Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade. The second half brings Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf into the fray. A new Preservation outfit for March 7th is also available simply by logging in during the update.
