The countdown is on for the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025, starting next week in Riyadh as part of the Esports World Cup. This premier event features a massive $3,000,000 prize pool and the comeback of the Global Ban & Pick format, drawing elite teams into high-stakes competition.
Kicking off with the group stage from July 15–19, the tournament divides teams into groups of four competing in double-elimination, best-of-three matches. Winners advance to the Group Kings stage, while second-place teams get a final opportunity in the Last Chance bracket.
Both Group Kings and Last Chance matches take place on July 20, determining the eight playoff teams set to compete starting July 23. This year, they are joined by two KPL powerhouses, AG.AL and TT Global, who enter directly into the playoffs. The Grand Finals on July 26 will be a best-of-seven Ultimate Battle.

Group stage matchups have been confirmed. Group A includes Blacklist International, BOOM Esports, Gen.G Esports, and Paws Gaming, while Group B features Alpha7 Esports, Dominator Esports, Loops, and Team Vitality. Groups C and D complete the lineup with teams such as Nova Esports, Twisted Minds, Nongshim Redforce, and OG Esports, setting the scene for thrilling international matchups.
