Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy winds, deep snowdrifts, and thrilling encounters with a host of new monsters!
What's New in Season 4?
This season introduces the frigid tundra habitat, home to several exciting additions:
- New Monsters: Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, making their debut in Monster Hunter Now. Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also appear. Tigrex will challenge you in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests and progressing through the story chapters. The tundra becomes accessible after completing the prologue.
- New Weapon: The Switch Axe: This versatile weapon offers two modes: Axe Mode for powerful, sweeping attacks, and Sword Mode for ferocious, close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
- Customizable Palico Companions: Recruit your own Palico to aid in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you take photos with your Palico in the real world.
- Friend Cheering: Add a social element to your hunts! Send cheers to friends for a temporary health boost (with a daily limit).
